Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. - Cream the Butter and Sugars
In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract. - Mix the Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. - Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. If you’re adding chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruits, fold them into the dough. - Scoop and Bake
Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack.
