- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup whipped topping (or whipped cream)
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: cinnamon for dusting, chopped pecans for topping
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust
- Mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until fully combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a baking dish or individual serving cups. Refrigerate to set for 10 minutes.
- Make the Cream Cheese Layer
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread or pipe this mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
- Prepare the Pumpkin Layer
- In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and whipped topping until well combined.
- Gently spread this mixture on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Add the Topping
- Add another layer of whipped topping on top and sprinkle with cinnamon or chopped pecans if desired.
- Chill and Serve
- Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours to allow the layers to set. Serve chilled and enjoy!
