Instructions
Preparation
- Lightly grease lollipop molds with non-stick spray.
- Set up lollipop sticks in the molds, ensuring they’re centered.
Cooking the Lollipops
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Attach a candy thermometer and heat the mixture to 300°F (hard-crack stage). Avoid stirring once it begins to boil.
Mixing the Kool-Aid Dip
- In a small bowl, mix Kool-Aid powder, sugar, and citric acid.
- Store in a resealable container until ready to use.
Assembling
- Pour the lollipop mixture into the molds and insert sticks.
- Allow lollipops to cool completely before removing from molds.
- Package each lollipop with a small portion of the Kool-Aid dipping powder.
