Instructions
- Prepare the Red Velvet Cake:
- Preheat your oven and prepare the red velvet cake mix as per package instructions or your own recipe.
- Bake in a shallow dish and let it cool completely.
- Once cooled, slice the cake into thin layers.
- Make the Cream Cheese Filling:
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture for a light, fluffy texture.
- Assemble the Lasagna:
- Place a layer of red velvet cake at the bottom of a glass dish.
- Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on top.
- Repeat the layers until the dish is filled, ending with the cream cheese layer on top.
- Optional: Garnish with white chocolate shavings or sprinkles.
- Chill and Serve:
- Chill the lasagna in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set the layers.
- Slice and serve chilled.
