Instructions
Preparation
- Grease silicone lollipop molds lightly with non-stick spray or oil.
- Set up lollipop sticks in molds, ensuring they’re centered.
Cooking
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water.
- Heat over medium-high, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Attach a candy thermometer and cook without stirring until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard-crack stage).
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in the Kool-Aid powder. Optionally, add food coloring.
Shaping
- Carefully pour the mixture into the prepared molds.
- Insert lollipop sticks and let them set completely (20–30 minutes).
Cooling and Storing
- Once cool, gently remove lollipops from the molds.
- Wrap individually in cellophane or store in an airtight container.
