Instructions

Preparation

  1. Grease silicone lollipop molds lightly with non-stick spray or oil.
  2. Set up lollipop sticks in molds, ensuring they’re centered.

Cooking

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water.
  2. Heat over medium-high, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Attach a candy thermometer and cook without stirring until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard-crack stage).
  4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the Kool-Aid powder. Optionally, add food coloring.

Shaping

  1. Carefully pour the mixture into the prepared molds.
  2. Insert lollipop sticks and let them set completely (20–30 minutes).

Cooling and Storing

  1. Once cool, gently remove lollipops from the molds.
  2. Wrap individually in cellophane or store in an airtight container.
