- Eggnog: 1 cup

- Optional Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2-3 tablespoons eggnog, dash of nutmeg
Instructions
- Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a standard loaf pan.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in eggnog and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine and Bake: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Optional Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, eggnog, and nutmeg. Drizzle over cooled loaf.
